When Ninja Snowballs and Taco de Paco co-owner Jared Loftus began turning his warehouse at 1284 Perkins Road into a showroom for new work by some of the city’s most cutting-edge artists on the first Friday of every month, he not only created a casual-cool grassroots event, he circumvented the traditional gallery system to shine a light on talented up-and-coming artists like Katrina Andry, T.J. Black, Yvette Creel and Alex Harvie, among others.
